Privacy Policy

What we collect
The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the appointment request form: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the service you want, your preferred date and time, and any notes you add. We do not collect anything else, and the form contains no hidden data fields.
How we use it
Booking requests are used for one purpose: contacting you to confirm and provide your appointment. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, use it for profiling, or send marketing messages. Under the NJDPA this means we do not process personal data for targeted advertising or engage in the "sale" of personal data as defined by the Act.
Where it lives
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, and form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, which is encrypted at rest by Cloudflare. Submissions are protected in transit by HTTPS. For spam prevention we keep a salted, one-way hash derived from your IP address — the address itself is never stored and cannot be recovered from the hash. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, may process technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site; see Cloudflare's own privacy policy for details.
Third-party content
The map on this site is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google may receive technical data (such as your IP address) and apply its own privacy policy. The optional "Add to Google Calendar" and "Add to Apple Calendar" buttons only hand your appointment details to your own calendar app when you click them — nothing is sent automatically. This site uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, and sets no tracking cookies, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
Your rights (NJDPA)
New Jersey residents may confirm whether we hold personal data about them, request a copy, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion. To exercise any of these rights, call the salon at (973) 790-6700 or ask in person at 389 Belmont Ave, Haledon, NJ 07508. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days as the Act requires, and deletion requests are honored by permanently removing your submission from our database. If we ever decline a request, you may appeal by contacting the salon again and asking that the decision be reviewed.
Retention
Booking requests are kept only as long as needed to schedule and provide your appointment and for reasonable business records, after which they are deleted.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
